Conference Registration

Camera Ready Instructions

Authors must closely follow the IEEE two column conference template and manuscripts should not exceed 6 pages (including references, figures, tables and text) in length. The copyright will be submitted using the IEEE Electronic Copyright Form (eCF). Details of this will be shared soon. After preparing the camera ready send the editable (doc/ docx) file to estconf2017@gmail.com. Please note that deadline for the camera ready is 21 June, 2019.

Workshop Proposals

The conference is soliciting proposals for the conduct of workshops on all the identified areas of research. A workshop may be delivered by a group of leading researchers and pioneers in their respective areas of research.

Registration Information

Conference registration rates can be accessed through the registration button below. Delegates and authors can take advantage of the early bird and IEEE membership discounts while registering. All authors must register for three days of the conference to have their paper published. Registering for EST 2019 will also give you concurrent access to AHS 2019 conference.

Keynote Speakers

Prof. Ben Azvine PhD, MBA, FIET, FITP

Ben is Global head of security research and innovation at BT. Having held research fellowship and lectureship posts in several universities, he joined BT in 1995 to lead a research programme to develop and exploit novel Artificial Intelligence technology to support next generation IT systems. Since then he has held senior, principal, chief research scientist posts at BT’s global R&D headquarters in Ipswich. Ben has more than 100 scientific articles on novel application of intelligent systems. He is an inventor of 50 patent applications, has won 4 BCS and an IET gold medals for IT innovation.

Dr. Shi Zhou

Dr. Shi Zhou is an Associate Professor at Department of Computer Science, University College London (UCL). He held a prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering/EPSRC Research Fellowship from 2007 to 2012. His research interests include social media analysis, cyber security, epidemic spreading, complex networks, Internet topology and cloud computing.

Details of how to get to the Colchester campus, plus event location, accommodation etc. can be found on the following downloadable document. If you are travelling by car, parking is available on campus. You can download the parking permit for display on the vehicle. Colchester has excellent transport links specially with London. Getting to Colchester is easy whether you are arriving by road, air, bus, train or channel tunnel. A National Express Coach runs from London to Colchester and has a dedicated stop at the University of Essex. People arriving at Stanstead airport can take a direct National Express Coach to the University of Essex.

Accommodation

Bed and breakfast accommodation is available on campus at £55 per night, you can book here using the promo code: NASA2019 The accommodation is single occupancy with an en-suite. Check in time is from 14:00 and check out time is by 09:30 at the Event Essex Office (see campus map). When you check in, you will be given the keys to your room as well as a meal card for your breakfast, staff will advise where this will be served.
